International of San Antonio presents the first-ever fashion week San
Antonio 2009!
Niche is happy to participate in two different events during
the week. We are hosting an informative workshop at our studio
exploring the journey of a garment from concept through production.
And Niche will be the featured sportswear designer at the
GOing Green/Night of Stars finale gala with the runway debut of our
spring 2010 collection.

Location: Historic Sunset Station, 1174 E. Commerce Street
Fashion Group Int'l of San Antonio's award
winning fashion show, "Fashion Au Naturale" GoGreen, returns as the
gala event for Fashion Week San Antonio 2009. Both designers and
students submitted designs using recycled materials to the GOingGREEN
runway show. FGI San Antonio will present scholarships and cash awards
for several categories, including Best Aesthetic Appeal, and Most
Creative Use of Repurposed Material to some of the designers showing
their fashions at this event. The evening's festivities will also
include a proclamation from the San Antonio Mayor's office and
recognition of FGI San Antonio's Trendsetter honorees. The evening
culminates with local designers Nilgun Derman of Niche,
Angelina Mata Couture, & Adrienne Yunger menswear, showcasing their
collections on the runway.
Fee: $85 (M) $100 (NM) — seated dinner includes VIP runway seating
floor level; $25 (M) $35 (NM) — general seating floor & standing room
